About Us
The Future of Pelvic Rehabilitation and Bodywork
We teach clinicians how to integrate the physical body with cognition & emotion, nervous-system regulation, and somatic experience through structured clinical frameworks grounded in advanced manual therapy, Yoga and Ayurveda.
Bridging the Gap in Clinical Education
For too long, professional continuing education has treated the physical body and the nervous system as separate entities.
Clinicians often understand how to treat physical dysfunction, but lack a systematic framework for integrating breath, somatics, and nervous-system regulation into their clinical decision-making.
The result is a collection of disconnected techniques, clinical uncertainty, and practitioner burnout from relying on excessive physical force.
The Integrative Somatic Healing Institute (ISHI) was founded to solve this problem. We replace technique accumulation with integrated clinical reasoning.
Our Core Values
1. Clinical Rigor
We rely on evidence-based practice, structured clinical reasoning, and precision, leaving no room for guesswork.
2. Authentic Integration
We honor Yoga and Ayurveda as profound, evidence-aware foundational sciences rather than alternative wellness practices.
3. Experiential Application
We deliver practical, sophisticated training that translates immediately from our classrooms to clinical application.
4. Practitioner Sustainability
We believe effective manual therapy interventions should not cause pain or physical depletion for the client or practitioner. We prioritize frameworks that protect the clinician’s body and mind.
5. Nervous System Integration and Somatics
We center the need for nervous system regulation strategies to achieve deeper, quicker, and lasting results. Practitioners are educated in incorporating breathwork, autonomic regulation, and somatics into manual therapy and movement interventions
